DID Press: Russian Navy announced that the strategic nuclear submarine Prince Pozharsky has successfully arrived at the main base of the Northern Fleet in the port of Gadzhievo. This fourth-generation submarine, built based on the upgraded Borei-A (955A) project, has now joined the 31st division “Red Banner Nakhimov” and is part of Russia’s strategic nuclear deterrent forces.

The commander of these forces, Admiral Anatoly Kovalenko, shared a video of the submarine’s arrival in Gadzhievo and confirmed that both the equipment and crew are fully prepared for the assigned missions. This modern submarine, which began construction in 2016 and was launched in February 2024, is equipped with Bulava ballistic missiles, advanced torpedoes, and anti-hydroacoustic systems.
