Japan: Women Lead in Longevity, Over 100,000 Citizens Aged 100+

Recent government data shows the number of centenarians in Japan has surpassed 100,000. According to statistics released by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, over 88% of these elderly individuals are women, highlighting the role of lifestyle, healthy nutrition, and healthcare in promoting longevity, particularly among women.
