Mujahid: Bagram Belongs to Afghanistan, Not the US or China

DID Press: Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the interim government in Afghanistan, has reiterated in an interview with Al Jazeera that the Bagram airbase is the sovereign property of Afghanistan, not of the United States or China.

Responding to recent remarks by former U.S. President Donald Trump and other American officials regarding the possible reclamation of Bagram, Mujahid emphasized that the U.S. should engage with Afghans through diplomatic and rational means.

In his conversation with Al Arabiya, Mujahid stated that the Bagram base is an integral part of Afghan territory and asserted that any foreign military presence in the country is unacceptable to the Afghan people.
