US Revokes Colombian President’s Visa over Remarks against US Forces
DID Press: US State Department announced that it will revoke Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s visa following what it described as his “inflammatory remarks” against American troops during a speech in New York.

In an unprecedented move, the State Department decided to cancel President Petro’s visa after allegedly comments he made calling on U.S. military personnel to defy orders from senior officials and support acts of violence.
Petro’s statements quickly drew widespread international backlash. The U.S. State Department said the decision was made in response to what it viewed as an incitement to violence and a show of disrespect toward chain of military command.
