Islamabad Warns Kabul: Border Attacks May Met with Force
DID Press: Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Talal Chaudhry, issued a stark warning to Afghanistan on Sunday, saying that if diplomatic efforts to halt cross-border attacks fail, Islamabad will respond “with bullets.” He accused Afghanistan of harboring militants responsible for attacks on Pakistani territory and described terrorism as the country’s biggest security threat.

“Eighty percent of terrorist attackers enter from Afghan soil,” Chaudhry said during a press conference, emphasizing that the government is strengthening border security, preventing militant infiltration, curbing sectarian violence, and stabilizing unrest-prone areas.
He also touted what he called “unprecedented diplomacy over the past 75 years” and claimed that Pakistan’s improved security situation has been recognized by international observers. Chaudhry urged all political parties to unite for national security and development, highlighting close cooperation between federal and provincial authorities.
Meanwhile, Pakistani military reported that 17 members of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed during an intelligence-led operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Responding to concerns over the possible infiltration of ISIS elements under the guise of migrants, Taliban spokesperson Abdul Mateen Qani said that “troublesome elements such as ISIS are fully contained in Afghanistan and there is no serious threat in this regard”.
