Afghanistan Begins Restoration of 2 Major Historical Sites in Ghazni
DID Press: Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban caretaker government announced the commencement of restoration and rehabilitation work on two major historical sites in Ghazni province.

According to the ministry, the projects have been launched with a budget exceeding 2.3 million Afghanis.
Local officials said that the restoration efforts will focus on the tomb of Sultan Shahab-ud-Din Ghuri and the historical Sardar Hill, both of which have suffered significant damage from natural erosion and climatic events.
Officials from the Ministry of Information and Culture emphasized that the initiatives aim to preserve and revive Afghanistan’s cultural heritage and form part of a broader government program for the rehabilitation of the country’s historical monuments.
Residents of Ghazni have welcomed the projects, noting that the restoration of these sites could play a key role in attracting domestic and international tourists while revitalizing the province’s cultural profile.
