Over 382,000 Electronic ID Cards Issued in 2 months, Kabul Leading Distribution
DID Press: National Statistics and Information Authority of the Taliban-led government announced that a total of 382,074 electronic ID cards were issued to citizens during the months of (approximately September–November) this year. According to the authority, over 22,000 of these ID cards were delivered through postal services.

The report highlights that capital Kabul led the provinces in electronic ID card distribution, issuing over 71,000 cards during this period. Following Kabul, Herat province issued 52,474 cards, Kandahar 21,384, Nangarhar 20,103, and Kunduz 15,515 cards.
The authority emphasized that the distribution of electronic ID cards continues through official centers and “Eas-Khadmat” (Easy Service) outlets across the country.
