Mahmoud Sayadat: Afghanistan’s Security Improves, Mining Investments Surge

DID Press: Head of the Iran-Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce, Mahmoud Sayadat said security conditions in Afghanistan have improved, opening new opportunities for investment, particularly in the country’s mining sector.

In his recent remarks, Sayadat highlighted that economic activities in mining are expanding rapidly, with Qatari, Turkish, and Chinese companies increasing their presence in Afghanistan’s market.

He also pointed out that global competitors are moving quickly to capture new markets in Afghanistan, emphasizing that Iran must act promptly to take advantage of these emerging opportunities.

Sayadat stressed the importance of Iran’s private sector becoming more active in Afghanistan to maintain its strategic position in the market.
