Iran Ready to Expand Scientific Cooperation with Afghanistan

DID Press: Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Kabul, Dr. Sayed Rouhullah Hussaini, announced Tehran’s readiness to expand scientific and educational cooperation with Afghanistan during the closing ceremony of the National Science Olympiad held by the Ministry of Education.

Hussaini highlighted the importance of science and research in the development of Muslim nations and praised the achievements of Afghan students. He said Iran is prepared to collaborate in fields such as technology, medicine, engineering, industry, mining, and other scientific disciplines.

He noted that Iran’s scientific and industrial progress is the result of years of sustained effort and serve as a model for Afghanistan. Hussaini added that Iran is ready to facilitate student and faculty exchanges and organize academic tours for Afghan learners.

He also referred to the recent visit of Afghanistan’s Higher Education Minister, Neda Mohammad Nadim, to Iran, describing it as a new beginning for deepened scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.
