Iran, Afghanistan Pledge to Expand Scientific and Cultural Cooperation
DID Press: Iran’s cultural attaché in Afghanistan and the head of Afghanistan’s Sahar Studies Center emphasized the development of bilateral scientific, cultural, and educational cooperation between the two countries.

Dr. Hosseini, Iran’s cultural attaché in Afghanistan, met with Fazl-ur-Rahman Auria, head of the Sahar Studies Center, and stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration in scientific, cultural, and educational fields.
Highlighting Iran’s achievements in areas such as nanotechnology, aerospace, stem cell research, knowledge-based companies, and science and technology parks, Dr. Hosseini expressed readiness to organize joint seminars and programs with Afghanistan.
The meeting also underscored the significance of expanding cooperation in arts, literature, and education, and highlighted the need for joint efforts to elevate cultural and scientific relations between the two nations.
Fazl-ur-Rahman Auria proposed signing a cooperation agreement and expressed the Sahar Studies Center’s readiness to participate in joint cultural and scientific projects, noting that Iran’s scientific and industrial progress offers opportunities to deepen bilateral collaboration.
