Israel, Greece and Cyprus Agree on Trilateral Military Cooperation Targeting Turkish Influence

DID Press: Israeli military has announced the signing of a trilateral military cooperation programme with Greece and Cyprus for 2026, a plan that Israeli sources say is aimed at countering Turkey’s role and influence in the eastern Mediterranean.

According to released information, the agreement includes a range of joint activities such as military exercises, special forces training, high-level meetings and strategic consultations among the three parties. According to reports, the cooperation is intended to strengthen defence coordination and enhance joint operational capabilities between Israel, Greece and Cyprus.

Informed sources said the core objective of the initiative is to boost military synergy and establish a coherent framework to address regional security developments, particularly in the Mediterranean Sea.
