Taliban, Oman to Launch Direct Kabul–Muscat Flights

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Taliban-run Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced an agreement with the Sultanate of Oman to begin direct flights between Kabul and Muscat.

According to the ministry, the decision followed comprehensive talks with Omani officials on aviation and transportation cooperation, during which both sides reached consensus on opening a direct air route linking the two capitals.

The statement added that Oman’s transport minister also pledged to expand cooperation in ground transportation, aiming to strengthen transit connectivity and economic ties between the two countries.
