DID Press: Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, issued a warning regarding the rising tensions in the region, saying any military action by the U.S. against Iran will provoke a severe naval response from Yemen. He emphasized that if such an attack occurs, all U.S. and Israeli vessels in the region will be within the range of Yemeni forces.
Saree reiterated Yemen’s firm position in supporting Iran and warned that any aggressive actions could threaten maritime security and regional stability with serious consequences.
He further said that any miscalculations by the U.S. or its allies would significantly escalate tensions, and the responsibility for the outcomes of such actions would lie with those who initiate them.
This warning comes at a time when regional developments are rapidly evolving, and concerns about the expansion of conflict are growing.
