DID Press: Turkey has announced new age restrictions on social media use. Under the new policy, registration and activity by users under the age of 15 will be banned across all digital platforms.
Internet platforms will also be required to strengthen identity verification procedures to prevent underage users from accessing social media services.
The decision is part of the Turkish government’s broader efforts to regulate the digital space and increase oversight of online activity.
