Trump after Meeting Netanyahu: Negotiations with Iran Preferred Option

DID Press: U.S. President Donald Trump announced that following a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and several members of his delegation, he emphasized the importance of continuing negotiations with Iran.

Trump explained that no definitive outcome emerged from the meeting, but he stressed the need to pursue talks with Tehran to determine whether a potential agreement is achievable. According to him, the diplomatic path remains the “preferred option,” although he noted that if no agreement is reached, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.

He also said that developments in Gaza and the broader region were discussed, claiming that progress has been made toward advancing peace efforts in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said Netanyahu urged Trump to ensure any potential agreement with Iran would guarantee Israel’s security.
