Afghanistani Migrants Mark Iran’s 47th Islamic Revolution Anniversary

DID Press: Afghanistani migrants residing in Iran took part in nationwide celebrations marking the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, joining Iranian citizens in commemorating the occasion.

During the anniversary events, Afghan communities across the country participated prominently in street gatherings, underscoring solidarity between the people of Iran and Afghanistan. One of the largest public assemblies was held in Mashhad city, where Afghanistani migrants were notably present.

Participants described the symbolic turnout as a message of unity and shared cultural and social ties between the two nations. Many Afghanistani attendees carried Iranian flags and displayed placards emphasizing friendship and cohesion between the two nations, while expressing their support for the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

Observers said the strong presence of Afghanistani migrants reflected their commitment to standing alongside the Iranian people and supporting the principles associated with the revolution.
