Afghan Red Crescent Provides Free Medical Care to Over 4,000 Patients in Wardak

DID Press: Afghan Red Crescent Society reported that over 4,000 patients in Wardak Province received free medical services over the past month.

Mobile health teams and staff from the society’s medical centers visited various districts, providing general examinations, medication distribution, health consultations, and patient follow-up.

Officials noted that the majority of beneficiaries were women, children, and low-income individuals with limited access to public and private healthcare facilities. The program aims to reduce healthcare challenges in remote areas and support vulnerable communities.

The Afghan Red Crescent Society emphasized that similar initiatives are continuing in other provinces, with efforts underway to expand free healthcare services nationwide.
