Heavy Rain and Snow Forecasted in 29 Afghanistan Provinces

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Meteorology Department under the Taliban’s Ministry of Transport and Aviation has warned of heavy rain, snow, and strong winds expected tomorrow (Sunday) across 29 provinces.

Affected areas include Herat, Farah, Nimroz, Badghis, Ghor, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Daikundi, Faryab, Jowzjan, Balkh, Samangan, Sar-e Pol, Bamyan, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Paktika, Khost, Paktia, Logar, Parwan, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Takhar, Nuristan, and Badakhshan.

Rainfall is forecasted between 10 to 35 mm, with snow accumulation ranging from 10 to 30 mm. Strong winds of 50 to 70 km/h are also expected across southern, central, and northern provinces.
