DID Press: Reports indicate that a gas pipeline in Pakistan was deliberately blown up by unidentified individuals, completely cutting off gas supply to the city of Quetta and several northern districts of Balochistan.

According to sources, armed unknown perpetrators targeted an 18-inch gas pipeline belonging to Sui Southern Gas Company in the Akhtarabad area of Harnai district, planting explosives beneath the pipeline before detonating them. The bomb disposal team described the incident as a deliberate act of sabotage.
A spokesperson for Sui Southern Gas confirmed that gas supply has been entirely suspended.
Pakistani authorities stated that repairs on the damaged pipeline have begun, but no timeline has been provided for the restoration of service.
