DID Press: Following rising security tensions in Pakistan’s tribal regions and Balochistan province, the Pakistani army reported that 10 armed group members were killed during Operation Khyber.

Official sources in Pakistan stated that army forces conducted a swift, targeted operation in the Bara area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against armed militants.
According to the military, these individuals, affiliated with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), had briefly occupied a government school and raised their flag inside.
During the operation, all 10 attackers were killed, and according to military officials, none managed to escape. The Pakistani army emphasized that any attempts to destabilize the tribal areas would be met with decisive action.
Simultaneously, two separate attacks occurred in Balochistan against security forces. In Quetta, armed assailants targeted a police motor patrol, killing two officers. The attackers fled the scene, and a pursuit operation is ongoing.
In another incident, a police outpost in Balochistan was hit by rocket fire. The attack was repelled after about 90 minutes of fighting with the support of local residents, but one additional security officer was killed during the clash.
