DID Press: The Independent reports, citing Democratic strategist James Carville, that if Democrats win the midterm elections and gain control of both chambers of Congress, Donald Trump’s presidency could end sooner than its scheduled term.
Carville predicts that a Democratic-controlled Congress would launch extensive investigations into Trump and his family.
He also highlighted the possibility of “war crimes” in Iran, a factor that could further increase political pressure on the US president.
According to Carville, the combined impact of congressional investigations and civil legal cases may eventually compel Trump to resign within roughly a year.
