DID Press: UN voiced concern over the threatening tone of the United States regarding potential attacks on Iran’s critical infrastructure.
Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, said during the daily press briefing on Monday: “We are worried by the tone of the social media post in which the U.S. threatened to strike power plants, bridges, and other infrastructure if an agreement is not reached.”
He emphasized that the United Nations consistently stresses the importance of de-escalation and resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomatic means.
