DID Press: Supreme National Security Council announced that United States, after sustaining what it described as heavy battlefield losses, has accepted the core principles of Iran’s 10-point proposal, with two weeks of negotiations set to begin in Islamabad to finalize an agreement.

The council emphasized that formal acceptance of these principles demonstrates what it called the “strategic incapacity of the United States” and the “decisive superiority of Iran and the Resistance Axis” in the 40-day conflict.
According to the statement, the United States has in principle agreed to the following provisions:
- Non-aggression against Iran
- Continued Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz
- Acceptance of uranium enrichment
- Removal of all primary and secondary sanctions
- Cancellation of resolutions by the UN Security Council and the Board of Governors
- Payment of compensation to Iran
- Withdrawal of U.S. military forces from the region
- Cessation of war against the Resistance Axis, including Lebanon
The council described the development as an “open surrender by the United States in the face of Iranian power.”
The statement further asserted that over the past 40 days, Iran and its allied forces have delivered blows that “nearly destroyed the U.S. military machine in the region,” targeting critical infrastructure and assets across multiple fronts.
According to the council, the United States realized only 10 days after the start of the conflict that it had “no chance of victory” and began seeking a ceasefire from that point onward.
The council also stated that Iran had rejected all ceasefire requests and deadlines issued by the U.S. president over the past month, continuing military operations until its objectives were achieved.
Based on the statement, the primary goal was to “force the enemy into regret, eliminate long-term threats, and consolidate Iran’s power,” and it claimed that “nearly all objectives have now been achieved.”
Given what it described as Iran’s upper hand on the battlefield, the country’s leadership and the Supreme National Security Council have decided to hold two weeks of negotiations in Islamabad to finalize the agreement’s details. These talks will proceed with “complete distrust” toward the United States, and the end of the war will be declared only after final arrangements are concluded.
Key Elements of Iran’s 10-Point Plan:
- Controlled passage through the Strait of Hormuz under Iranian supervision
- End of hostilities against all components of the Resistance Axis
- Full withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region
- Establishment of a secure transit protocol guaranteeing Iranian authority
- Full payment of war damages
- Removal of all sanctions and international resolutions
- Release of Iran’s frozen assets
- Ratification of the agreement through a binding UN Security Council resolution
According to the council, the Prime Minister of Pakistan confirmed that the United States has accepted these principles.
