Uzbek Deputy Agriculture Minister Arrives in Kabul to Expand Farming Cooperation
DID Press: Jamshid Abdurazzaqov has arrived in Kabul at the head of a senior delegation to strengthen cooperation in agriculture and livestock development between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Afghanistan, the official visit aims to expand collaboration in farming and animal husbandry while enhancing broader economic ties between the two neighboring countries.
The ministry said horticulture projects will be reviewed during the visit, alongside discussions on strengthening technical cooperation and knowledge exchange in modern agricultural practices.
Meetings are also scheduled between the Uzbek delegation and Afghan officials and specialists to explore practical steps for improving productivity and sustainability in the agriculture and livestock sectors.
Officials noted that the visit could represent an important step toward deepening bilateral cooperation and improving agricultural capacity in Afghanistan, where farming and livestock remain critical pillars of the national economy.
