Pezeshkian: No One Can Deny Iran Its Nuclear Rights
DID Press: Masoud Pezeshkian stated that no individual or country has the authority to deny the Iranian nation its nuclear rights under international law, responding to recent remarks by Donald Trump regarding restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program.

Pezeshkian said that Trump claims the Islamic Republic should not exercise its nuclear rights but does not explain on what legal basis such restrictions would be imposed. He questioned the legitimacy of any attempt by a single figure to limit the recognized rights of a sovereign nation.
Referring to fundamental human principles and national rights, the Iranian president added that every free individual—regardless of religion, ethnicity, or background—should enjoy their legitimate rights, and that Iran expects fairness and justice in the international system.
He emphasized that Iran remains committed to pursuing its nuclear rights within the framework of international treaties and expects other global actors to adhere to principles of justice and mutual respect.
