Palestinian Products Ban in Jerusalem Called Violation of Economic Rights
DID Press: Palestinian Food Industries Union condemned Israel’s decision to block the entry of Palestinian food products into markets in Jerusalem, describing the move as a clear violation of economic rights.

In an official statement, the union strongly criticized the Israeli authorities’ ban on Palestinian food goods—particularly dairy and meat products—from reaching Jerusalem markets.
The statement said the measure contradicts the provisions of the Paris Protocol and undermines the principle of free movement of goods.
It added that Palestinian products have been consistently supplied to Jerusalem markets for years, and the new restrictions are part of broader policies aimed at pressuring the Palestinian production sector.
The union further emphasized that Jerusalem is an inseparable part of the Palestinian economic market and that Palestinian producers must be allowed unrestricted access to its commercial activity.
