Afghanistan, Uzbekistan Expand Industrial and Trade Cooperation
DID Press: Afghanistan’s Minister of Industry and Commerce held talks with governor of Bukhara to explore ways to expand exports and strengthen industrial cooperation between the two countries.

Nooruddin Azizi met with Botir Zaripov during his official visit to Uzbekistan, where both sides discussed expanding cooperation in industry, trade, and tourism.
The discussions focused on the use of modern agricultural technologies for processed food production in Afghanistan, as well as increasing exports of these products to Uzbekistan.
Azizi emphasized the importance of strengthening trade relations and developing domestic production capacity, calling for closer cooperation between industrial sectors of both countries.
The governor of Bukhara proposed the establishment of tourism and medical travel routes between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, a suggestion welcomed by the Afghan minister. He noted that such initiatives could strengthen not only economic ties but also cultural and social relations between the two nations.
According to the agreement reached, the governor of Bukhara is expected to visit Kabul in the near future to explore investment opportunities and further expand economic and trade cooperation.
The meeting is part of broader efforts by Afghanistan and Uzbekistan to enhance bilateral trade, industrial development, and economic partnership across multiple sectors.
