NYT: Iran Air Defenses Forced Pause in Trump Strike Plans

DID Press: The New York Times, citing Pentagon officials, reports that Donald Trump partially delayed additional strikes on Iran due to growing concerns over Tehran’s expanding air defense capabilities.

According to the officials, Iranian commanders have analyzed the flight patterns of U.S. aircraft, enabling them to better anticipate American operational routes and improve the effectiveness of their defensive systems.

The report adds that the downing of an F-15E fighter jet and damage to an F-35 aircraft were viewed as indicators of increasing risk to U.S. military aviation operations in the region.
