Nimroz Becomes Afghanistan’s Busiest Entry Point for Foreign Nationals
DID Press: Official figures show that Afghanistan’s border crossing in Nimroz recorded the highest number of foreign arrivals during the first two months of the 1405 solar year, making it the country’s busiest gateway for international visitors.

According to the National Statistics and Information Authority, a total of 5,756 foreign nationals entered and exited Afghanistan during the period.
The data indicate that 2,995 foreign citizens entered the country, while 2,761 departed Afghanistan.
The agency said that some visitors arrived for tourism-related purposes, while a larger share entered the country for employment and business activities.
Among all entry points, the Nimroz border crossing recorded the highest volume of foreign arrivals, underscoring its growing importance as a key transit and commercial gateway for Afghanistan.
The report did not provide a breakdown of visitors by nationality or destination within the country.
