Germany Approves Entry of Six More Taliban Diplomats After Istanbul Talks
DID Press: Reports from German media indicate that Germany has agreed to admit six additional diplomats linked to the Taliban administration following recent talks in Istanbul.

According to the reports, the decision comes after negotiations between German officials and representatives of the Taliban in Turkey, aimed at managing consular services and diplomatic coordination related to Afghanistan.
At present, two consular staff members are reportedly handling Afghan diplomatic affairs in Berlin and at the Afghan consulate in Bonn. The planned arrival of six new representatives would significantly expand the Taliban-linked diplomatic presence in Germany.
The move reflects ongoing European efforts to manage administrative and consular issues concerning Afghanistan, particularly in areas related to documentation, migration, and consular representation, despite the lack of formal international recognition of the Taliban government.
Officials have not yet publicly detailed the full scope of responsibilities assigned to the incoming diplomats, and further clarification is expected as the process advances.
