Tamadon TV Chief: Removal of Equipment Before Court Ruling Is Illegal
DID Press: Jawad Mohseni, head of Tamadon TV, has warned that unidentified individuals are reportedly transferring equipment and assets belonging to the broadcaster from its headquarters in Kabul, describing any such action before a final court decision as unlawful.

In a statement published on his Facebook page, Mohseni said reports from Kabul indicated that trucks and cargo vehicles were being used to remove equipment, property, and other assets from the television network’s premises.
He stressed that until a final and binding ruling is issued by the competent judicial authorities, any transfer, removal, or interference with the broadcaster’s assets would be considered illegal and could constitute unlawful possession of property.
Mohseni also noted that the building housing TV Tamadon contains privately owned residential units and emphasized that the property rights and personal belongings of residents must be protected under the law.
The media executive said responsibility for safeguarding the building, equipment, and assets rests with the relevant security institutions and authorities of the interim administration. He warned that any loss, damage, destruction, unauthorized transfer, or disappearance of property could result in legal liability for the responsible entities.
The statement comes a day after Tamadon’s TV operations were halted following an operation by Taliban forces. Authorities have not yet publicly responded to the allegations raised by the broadcaster’s management.
Tamadon TV is among Afghanistan’s well-known media outlets and has been active in news, cultural, and religious programming. The suspension of its activities has sparked reactions among journalists, media advocates, and social media users.
