Pakistan Rejects India’s Claims Over Border Operations Near Afghanistan

DID Press: Pakistan has strongly rejected India’s statements regarding recent military operations along the border with Afghanistan, calling them “baseless” and “unacceptable,” according to the Foreign Ministry.

Taher Andrabi said in a post on X that Islamabad categorically denies New Delhi’s allegations concerning “legitimate, targeted and proportionate” actions against alleged terrorist infrastructure inside Afghan territory.

He accused India of previously interfering in the internal affairs of neighboring countries and violating their sovereignty and territorial integrity in breach of the United Nations Charter.

Andrabi further alleged that India continues to violate the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, citing relevant UN resolutions.

The Pakistani spokesperson also claimed that India supports terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil against Pakistan, describing it as a destabilizing actor in the region.

He added that India’s accusations and statements against Pakistan are “unfounded” and should not be accepted.

The statement follows reports that Pakistani security forces conducted intelligence-based operations on Sunday along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border targeting what they described as militant groups.
