Muttaqi Calls for Muslim Unity Against US and Israel
DID Press: Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has called for greater unity among Muslim countries in response to what he described as US and Israeli actions in the region during talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran.

According to a statement released by the Taliban, the two ministers discussed bilateral relations, ways to expand cooperation, and recent regional developments.
Muttaqi said Afghanistan and Iran share common interests and stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual concern.
Araghchi described relations between Tehran and Kabul as moving in a positive direction and emphasized continued dialogue and broader bilateral cooperation.
Muttaqi also expressed condolences to Iran’s leadership and people over recent events and condemned what he described as U.S. and Israeli aggression against Iran, praising the resilience of the Iranian people.
He further called for solidarity among Muslim nations to confront what he termed “U.S.-Israeli conspiracies,” saying unity across the Islamic world was essential to address shared challenges.
