DID Press: Sheikh Maher Hammoud, head of the International Union of Resistance Scholars, has paid tribute to the personality and conduct of the “martyr Imam of the Islamic Ummah,” stressing that he remained committed to principles of faith, humanity, and resistance against oppression until his final moments.
Hammoud said the prominent leader maintained unwavering commitment to the values he believed in from the beginning of his struggle until his martyrdom.
He added that steadfastness on ideological principles and defense of the oppressed were among the most defining characteristics of his personality.
He further emphasized that honesty, courage, and dedication to human ideals turned the martyr leader into an inspirational model for free nations around the world.
