Trump Administration Withholds Full Epstein Files
DID Press: US Department of Justice under President Donald Trump declined to release additional unredacted records related to the Jeffrey Epstein case before a court-imposed deadline, citing legal obligations, protection of victims’ identities, and the integrity of ongoing investigations.

The decision came in response to a lawsuit filed by attorney and independent journalist Katie Phang under the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” seeking public access to all records related to the case.
According to reports, some of the unreleased documents include emails allegedly sent by Jeffrey Epstein concerning subjects such as “torture videos” and allegations involving sexual activities with young women and underage individuals. Several interviews also remain sealed, including testimony from a woman who alleged she was abused by Donald Trump during her childhood.
The Justice Department said it had reviewed more than six million documents but concluded that releasing additional material would conflict with legal exemptions designed to protect victims’ identities, preserve investigative processes, and comply with other statutory requirements.
Despite continued legal and media pressure for full disclosure of the Epstein files, the Justice Department has not indicated any change in its position.
