DID Press: The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran is preparing for a multi-day funeral ceremony for its late leader, describing the event as a display of national resilience and defiance toward the West and the United States.
According to the newspaper, the ceremonies are expected to attract massive public participation, potentially making them one of the largest public gatherings in Iran’s history.
The report added that, in the view of many Iranians, the Islamic Republic’s ability to strike its adversaries—including attacks on US military bases—has reinforced support for the strategic approach associated with the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
