DID Press: Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), also known as Hashd al-Shaabi, says it has completed all logistical, security, and service preparations for the funeral ceremonies of the Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala.
In a statement, the PMF said it has coordinated closely with Iraqi security forces and relevant authorities and is fully prepared to host the ceremonies.
According to the statement, the body of the Martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution will be escorted after arriving in Iraq along a symbolic route from Karbala toward Najaf before being taken to the Imam Husayn Shrine in Karbala for the final public farewell.
The PMF also announced that medical facilities and emergency services required for the ceremonies have been fully prepared.
