Funeral Prayer Details Announced for Martyred Leader at Razavi Holy Shrine

DID Press: Astan Quds Razavi has announced details of the funeral and burial ceremonies for the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stating that the funeral prayer will be held at the Imam Reza (AS) Holy Shrine following the procession.

According to the fourth statement issued by Astan Quds Razavi, after the conclusion of the funeral procession along Imam Reza Avenue, the prayer will be performed over the body of the Martyred Leader and other members of his family at the holy shrine.

The announcement said that due to expectations of a large turnout of mourners and the location of the Prophet’s Courtyard and surrounding courtyards along the final route of the procession, prayer lines will be arranged on the northern side of the shrine and along Sheikh Tabarsi Avenue.

The shrine authorities also announced that mourning programs featuring eulogists and international Quran reciters will continue in the Prophet’s Courtyard area.

Astan Quds Razavi called on attendees and mourners to participate while observing order and public discipline and to cooperate with shrine officials during the ceremonies.
