22 Terrorists Killed in Pakistan Army Operations Over 24 Hours

DID Press: Pakistan’s military said at least 22 terrorists affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and separatist groups were killed in security operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces over a 24-hour period.

The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said security forces foiled two terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.In the first clash in Azam Warsak, in South Waziristan, army troops responded to an attempted attack by TTP terrorists on security posts, killing eight attackers, according to the statement.

In a separate operation in the Dir area, two more terrorists were killed, the military said.Meanwhile, as part of the intelligence-based Radd-ul-Fasaad-3 operation in Balochistan, security forces killed 12 separatist and insurgent terrorists in the Washuk and Mastung areas and destroyed their hideouts, according to the statement.

Military officials said a significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists.The Pakistani army said clearance operations were continuing in the areas to eliminate remaining terrorist elements.
