From Epstein to FIFA: JPMorgan Executive Faces Scrutiny Over Past Ties
DID Press: Mary Erdoes, head of asset and wealth management at JPMorgan, is facing renewed scrutiny over her past ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender. The 58-year-old executive was reportedly among the figures behind a controversial proposal to sell a 20% stake in FIFA for $4.2 billion, a plan pursued with the support of FIFA President Gianni Infantino but ultimately abandoned.

Documents released by U.S. officials indicate that Erdoes’s relationship with Epstein continued for years. According to the documents, JPMorgan ended its business relationship with Epstein only in 2013, five years after Epstein was convicted in Florida of procuring an underage girl for prostitution.
The disclosures have once again raised serious questions about the role of senior banking executives in major financial initiatives and their undisclosed connections with controversial and disgraced figures.
