Taliban Government Confirms State Ownership of Nearly 10,000 Jeribs of Land in Balkh

DID Press: Afghanistan’s Taliban-run Ministry of Justice has announced that a special court handling cases involving allegedly usurped land has confirmed state ownership of nearly 10,000 jeribs of land in Nahr-e Shahi district of Balkh province.

According to a ministry statement, the land is located in the Momenabad area. After reviewing the relevant documents and evidence, the court ruled that the property belongs to the state.

The ministry added that, under the court’s decision, those currently occupying the land are required to hand it over to the Commission for the Prevention of Land Usurpation and the Restitution of Usurped Lands.
