Taliban: More Than 10 Million People Are Receiving Education in Afghanistan

DID Press: Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid says more than 10 million students across Afghanistan are currently receiving education at schools, universities and other educational institutions.

Mujahid made the remarks during the fourth press briefing of the “Government in the Mirror of the Press” program.

According to him, 238 educational centers have been renovated across the country, while more than 2 million people are receiving education at religious schools.

He added that literacy programs have been made available to more than 93,000 people, while around 38,000 public and private schools and educational centers are currently operating across Afghanistan.

The Taliban spokesperson also said thousands of training seminars have been held to improve the professional capacity of teachers and employees working in educational institutions.
