DID Press: Donald Trump has sharply criticized South Korea for refusing to join Washington’s military operations against Iran, signaling that the United States could reconsider the level of its security and military support for Seoul.

Speaking to Fox News, Trump reportedly argued that Washington should not continue providing support without receiving something in return from countries unwilling to assist the United States.
Trump also ordered a reduction in the scale of joint military exercises between the United States and South Korea, describing the drills as costly and potentially hostile in terms of Washington’s relations with North Korea.
The U.S. president also referred to his relationship with Kim Jong Un in explaining his decision regarding the military exercises.
