Several Shia Leaders Arrested in Kabul

DID Press: Local sources have reported that several Hazara and Shia community leaders have been arrested by Kabul’s Police District 3 on the orders of the Taliban’s Minister of Justice.

Among those recently detained are Sayed Hassan Sharifi Balkhabi and Mohammad Hossein Sangardost. Three visitors, a cook and two guards at their office were also reportedly arrested.

The Taliban have not publicly commented on the reported detentions or disclosed the reasons for the arrests.
