Ansarullah Launches Heavy Attacks on Saudi Aramco and Military Targets

DID Press: Yemen’s Houthi movement said it had targeted several sites in Saudi Arabia in the latest wave of its attacks, including oil facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco.

According to local media reports, the Jizan refinery and a bulk plant in Abha, as well as King Khalid Air Base and Abha International Airport, were among the targets of the attacks.

Ansarullah said the attacks were carried out in response to the closure of Yemen’s ports and airports and targeted Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy also said several energy facilities and centers in the country’s southern regions came under attack this morning.

According to the ministry, the attacks caused fires at several energy sites and operations at some facilities were suspended.

The Saudi Energy Ministry has so far released no further details about the perpetrators or the type of attacks, or the extent of the damage caused.
