UN: Justice Remains Elusive for Most Civilian Victims of Afghanistan War
DID Press: United Nations says most civilians who were victims of the Afghanistan war between 2001 and 2021 have yet to receive justice, reparations or even adequate recognition of the suffering they endured.

The UN said many victims and their families still have not received clear answers regarding the harm and losses they suffered, while effective mechanisms to address their rights remain unavailable.
The organization called for greater attention to the situation of victims and urged action to ensure justice, provide reparations and formally recognize the suffering of civilians affected by the war.
