DID Press: U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders condemned President Donald Trump’s anti-Iran remarks, describing them as “barbaric” and warning against any action that could harm the Iranian people.
“No, Mr. President. We should not destroy the people of Iran. This is a war crime. This is barbarism, and it is something the United States should never be associated with,” Sanders wrote in a post on X, adding, in his view, Trump’s war against Iran is illegal and unconstitutional, and called on Congress to end the conflict immediately.
