Iran: Defense Weapons Production Capacity Has Increased 2.5-Fold

DID Press: Iran’s Defense Ministry spokesperson says the country’s capacity to produce weapons and defense equipment has increased 2.5-fold compared with the period before the “Ramadan War.”

The spokesperson said production of some types of weapons has increased by more than three times, without providing further details on specific weapons or production figures.

He added that Iran has also updated its defense weapons research, development and production programs in line with wartime conditions and the priorities of the country’s armed forces.

The remarks come as Iran continues to emphasize expanding domestic defense production and adapting its military-industrial capabilities to changing security requirements.
