DID Press: The final statement of the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), titled the Baghdad Declaration, is scheduled to be released on Sunday.

Hassanein Kamel, spokesperson for the meeting, told the Iraqi News Agency that speeches by representatives of participating delegations would continue on the second day of the conference because of the large number of participants.
Kamel said that following the release of the final statement, Iraq’s foreign minister and the OIC secretary-general would hold a press conference to explain the meeting’s outcomes.
The session is being held in Baghdad, where the final declaration is expected to outline the member states’ positions and conclusions on the issues discussed during the meeting. The two-day session began on October 17, 2026.
