Israeli Circles Demand Saudi Arabia Pay for Military and Security Assistance

DID Press: Some Israeli circles have called on Saudi Arabia to pay for military and security assistance provided by Israel, including compensation for part of the costs of the wars in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and Iran.

According to reports from sources close to these circles, US President Donald Trump has praised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions toward Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, citing Israel’s assistance to Riyadh.

Some Israeli circles argue that military and security support for Saudi Arabia should not be provided without financial compensation, insisting that Riyadh should pay for access to Israel’s security capabilities and assistance.

Beyond security cooperation, the demands reportedly include substantial payments from Saudi Arabia to help cover the costs of Israeli military operations in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and Iran. Supporters of this position argue that countries that have benefited from the outcomes of the wars should bear part of the military costs.

The same circles have described Israel as the main winner of the war and argued that it is seeking to recover military expenditures incurred since October 7. In their view, these costs should be covered using funds from countries that benefited from the war’s outcomes, including Saudi Arabia.
